Medical Partner

Family Care Network became our strategic medical partner to provide virtual medical services to our patients. As one of the largest fully-independent Family Medicine groups in the United States, Family Care Network provides care in numerous settings including outpatient clinics, urgent care centers, skilled nursing, assisted living facilities and hospitals.

Meet some of our amazing providers

James G. Hopper, MD Dr. Hopper was born in Seattle where he graduated from the University of Washington School of Medicine in 1984 and completed his family medicine residency in Charleston, South Carolina in 1987. Outside of work, you will find him running the many trails there are in Whatcom County, bicycling and skiing at Mt. Baker.

Anneliese H. Floyd, MD Dr. Floyd graduated from the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle and attended internship and residency at Swedish Family Medicine (also in Seattle). She trained in the full range of medicine, including obstetrics and pediatrics, with an emphasis on preventive care. Her other passion is musical theater. You might see her in a production or two, having great fun with local community theater groups.

Abigail DeGouveia, PA-C Abigail R. DeGouveia graduated from East Tennessee State University with a degree in Spanish and vocal performance. She completed her physician assistant training at Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, Tennessee. After graduation, she started working in emergency medicine. Outside of work, she enjoys outdoor activities, travel, music and good food.

Michael A. Payne, ARNP Originally from Indiana, Michael A. Payne is a 30-year veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served all over the world. The first half of his military career was as a Navy Saturation Diver and the second half as a Registered Nurse Corps Officer. He earned my Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Seattle University and my Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner from Purdue University Global. Michael Payne am board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
